Report: Jeremy Mayfield Positive For Meth In NASCAR Drug Test

Suspended NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Jeremy Mayfield tested positive for the addictive stimulant methamphetamine according to a story published Tuesday by ESPN The Magazine . NASCAR driver reportedly tested positive for meth

ESPN the Magazine is reporting that NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield tested positive for medications as well as methamphetamine in a May 1 random drug test. Mayfield admitted he’d taken a double dose of allergy medication Claritin-D and Adderall XL (to treat ADHD) and filed for a temporary restraining order that would have allowed him to compete while he appealed an indefinite suspension.
